Nice site! Saw the link over in B Bodies site, looking fwd to chatting/learning/assisting with the MOPAR preservation, and restoration movement!
My name is Donny, I live just north of San Antonio, I am retired US Army, 21 yrs of active duty, I am married and we have one daughter. My wife drives a 07 Charger RT, our daughter drives a new Challenger SE (she's a Senior in HS), and I drive a Chevy Avalance (if Dodge built something like it I would buy it).
However, I have a 69 Satellite, 70 300, and 60 GTX as my MOPARs. I also love motorcycles and have a ZX-14, WR450F and just sold a CBR954RR.
I am going to school full time on the GI Bill, and have my own business www.drblast.com in which I do Plastic Media Blasting for the greater San Antonio area. If you mention this site I will give you 15% off stated prices on the site!
Currently, I am building both B Bodies. The GTX is a sad case, it was horribly neglected in RI for many years, and, has tons of rust. I am basically down to just a bare-bones car, and it's getting thinner as I eliminate bad metal and replace with good/new metal. I just got a new front end clip the other day from www.texasacres.com which will serve as a new structure for the GTX.
The Satellite is further along, some trunk extension work, Media Blast a few more areas, then into primer and body work, I want to get it up and driving as soon as possible, it's a 318 2bbl, but, it will look really good, and stop really well too (new disc package front and rear going on) with Magnum 500s and wide rubber. It'll be a rolling business card for MOPARs, my Media Blasting, and something to show for my years of Welding in the Army!
